You’d think shrimp scampi is complicated and too fancy to make, but this recipe is actually one of the easiest I’ve ever tried and is absolutely delicious!
Ingredients:
- 1 pound large, raw shrimp (peeled)
- 4-6 cloves garlic, chopped
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/8 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Method:
- In a large, heated, saute pan, add butter and garlic and cook until butter melts.
- Add garlic and sautee for 1 minute.
- Add wine, lemon juice, shrimp, and salt and pepper.
- Cook until shrimp turns opaque or pink, occasionally stirring.
- Add Parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
- You can serve this either plain or over pasta or rice.
