Ingredients:
- 1 pound roast beef
- 1 1/2 cup beef stock
- 2 large green bell peppers, seeded
- 1 cup water
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic, minced
Method:
- In a large frying pan, stir together the sliced bell peppers, water, tomato paste, bay leaf, and garlic.
- Heat to a boil, then reduce to simmer.
- Slice the roast beef very thin, then place in the pan along with the peppers.
- Leave uncovered and cook for 15 minutes.
- Serve in long rolls.
